Unique Characters: Snout pointed. Posterior canine present, strong canine teeth present in front of jaws. Head and upper back dark red to brown or purple, lower head and posterior body yellow; no black spot at upper margin of tip of pectoral fin. Total number of rakers on first gill arch 17-19.
