Aplodinotus grunniens

Unique Characters: Strongly arched, silver body. Short first dorsal fin, longer second dorsal fin. Lateral line extends to end of caudal fin. Historically restricted to lower French Broad River in Madison County; now found in Kerr Lake and downstream in the Roanoke River.
