Fundulus lineolatus
Unique Characters: One of the “starhead” topminnows, this species is readily recognized by the large and iridescent spot on top of the head and a smaller spot on the back in front of the dorsal fin. The male has 9-13 dark bars on the side while the female has 6-8 dark stripes on the side. A dark blotch is present below the eye.
