Unique Characteristics: Pectoral fin absent. Lower lip without a downturned flange. 6b. Banded or mottled in color.

Similar Species: Bicolor Eel, Chlopsis bicolor. Pectoral fin absent. Lower lip without a downturned flange. Bicolored, brown above and white below.
