Erythrocles monodi
Unique Characters: Bight red body. Large eye with yellow iris. Mouth extremely protrusile. Head covered with scales. Maxilla widely expanded posteriorly, covered with scales and mostly exposed when mouth is closed. Supramaxilla long and slender, but mostly concealed under preorbital when mouth is closed. Jaws toothless or with a few minute, conical teeth. Dorsal fin with 11 spines and 11 or 12 rays; fin margin notched to base in front of soft portion.
