Eurypharynx pelecanoides
Unique Characteristics: Body elongate, tail attenuated and ending in an expanded, luminous caudal organ. Mouth greatly enlarged by a backward extension of jaws, gape comprising half or more of preanal length; buccal cavity greatly distensible. Dorsal fin begins about midway between tip of snout and anus. A pair of white lines or grooves, 1 on each side of dorsal fin.
