Galeus arae
Unique Characters: Yellowish brown to brown with rows of dark brown spots and saddles dorsally and on sides. Dorsal and caudal fins tipped white (Kells and Carpenter 2011).
Similar Species: Chain Dogfish Scyliorhinus retifer. Dusky pale brown with dark “chain” pattern over body. Alternating dark saddles within chain pattern. Dorsal fins set posteriorly (Kells and Carpenter 2011).
