Lepidocybium flavobrunneum
Unique Characters: Body purplish brown, large adults blackish. Lateral line single, extremely sinuous. Iris black. Dorsal-fin low with 8 or 9 spines. Caudal peduncle with a prominent median keel and 2 supplemental keels above and below. Dorsal-fin elements, including finlets, less than 55. Distance from anus to anal-fin origin much shorter than snout length, about equal to eye diameter.
