Unique Characteristics: One ORB photophore, anteroventral to eye. Premaxillary teeth biserial. Body with 2 rows of serial photophores. Dorsal adipose fin present; dorsal-fin rays 11-13. VAV photophores 7 or 8; 9th or 10th IV photophore elevated; 1 or 2 anterior AC photophores elevated.
