Unique Characteristics: Anal fin rays 16-3. Dorsal fin origin not well in advance of anal fin origin. Photophores absent from isthmus; IV photophores 13-17. Dorsal and anal fins with elongate anterior rays. Body with 1 row of photophores. Pectoral fin rays 14-16.
